Lately, I've been admiring all the great leggings outfits on Instagram. People seem to be genuinely excited to style outfits around them and sharing their looks proactively. I always find that some of my style icons who veer on the sportier side will, every so often, throw up a sports-bra mirror selfie or a quick snap after a yoga workout, but rarely are we thrilled to construct adorable looks with a tie-dye legging set. I get frustrated every time I think about the fact that I'm a Black girl who can't braid . To clarify, I can easily complete a simple, three-strand braid, but my attempts to do anything more complex than that - cornrows, french braids , fishtails - always prove to be a joke.
