Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin continue to flex their streetwear style. The couple, who was spotted hand in hand on Saturday, coordinated with their black face masks — but the ensembles certainly matched in more ways than one. Going for bright hues, the Canadian singer-songwriter opted for a tangerine T-shirt from his smiley-faced clothing and shoe line, Drew House, while the model and TV personality donned salamander orange biker shorts and what appeared to be a correspondingly colored sports bra. On top of that, she layered a long-sleeved heather gray top, which paired well with her husband’s Drew-emblazoned basketball shorts. For footwear, Bieber went for Nike sneakers — seemingly the brand’s Air Max 90 — in a monochromatic off-white color, leather tongue tags and waxed laces. (The trainers might remind sneakerheads of Tinker Hatfield’s original

The supermodel served her Instagram followers a full-body psychedelic ensemble and nude mules from singer-slash-designer Rihanna’s Fenty collection. The short-sleeved crewneck T-shirt — made of synthetic knit in a body-hugging fit — perfectly matched her pants , which comes with ultra-long legs that are meant to be worn over one’s shoes. Both pieces were made in Tunisia, retailing at a respective $200 and $300. (The leggings are currently sold out.) Instead of covering them, however, Hadid showed off her heels , which were more than four inches high. The pair — a silhouette from Fenty’s first footwear collection, co-designed with Amina Muaddi — was constructed in Italy with a combination of nude nappa lambskin and sheer mesh. They featured a square toe and reversed cone heel, as well as leather-lined inner soles and mon

The reality TV star channeled the ’90s vibe in her latest Instagram post, which was simply captioned with a crystal ball emoji that reflected the purple hues of her skintight outfit. The sport-inspired piece featured sleeveless arms and a high crewneck with a smoothing fit, which makes it ideal for wearing throughout the year — from the warm months of summer to cooler temperatures in the winter underneath other items of clothing. She also wore bleached jeans that were cinched at the waist and came in a boot-cut silhouette. For footwear, the entrepreneur aptly opted for

How Sylven New York’s ReBoot Portal Is Combatting Luxury Fashion’s Production Waste Problem

Image
After launching a shoe dust bag drive that transformed often discarded covers into face masks this summer, emerging brand Sylven New York’s latest initiative, The ReBoot, tackles yet another waste issue accumulated by the footwear industry. Stories of fashion and footwear brands discarding items from season’s past or those with slight imperfections have raised a red flag in recent years. Back in 2018, word of Burberry burning up $36.8 million worth of their own merchandise showed how even luxury brands operate on an unsustainable, fast fashion cycle. Sustainable brands are not immune to this issue either as Casey Dworkin, the creative director and founder of Sylven New York, soon found out when her eco-conscious luxury footwear brand started to rack up waste. “If something has the tiniest scuff on the sole from a photoshoot or fashion show, you can’t sell it as a new product as an e-commerce brand,” said Dworkin. “As someone who is so specific about minimizing waste in my productio
