Camila Cabello debuted a far-out new look while performing at Global Citizen Live in New York City this week. The “Don’t Go Yet” singer took the stage in a groovy printed outfit by Laroxx. Her ensemble featured an oversized shirt, leggings and a corset with dramatically long ties, all in a multicolored swirl print. When worn with round purple sunglasses by Privé Revaux, her look had a distinct ’70s vibe. Later in the afternoon, Cabello swapped the hippie-worthy outfit for a ribbed tan shirt and black leggings, paired with the same printed corset and a flowing robe. Jennifer Lopez returned to New York City in sparkling style for Global Citizen Live. The “Jenny From the Block” singer took the stage for a performance in a custom jumpsuit by Dolce and Gabbana. The black one-piece garment featured swirling gold embroidery on its bodice and sides, as well as a deep neckline. Meghan Markle brought classic elegance to Global Citizen Live last night in New York City’s Central Park. The Duchess of Sussex took the stage with Prince Harry to advocate for global equity for COVID-19 vaccines, during the couple’s cross-country trip this week. For the occasion, she wore a white minidress by Valentino. The short-sleeved number featured white floral accents on its neckline, hem and sleeves, creating  an instantly elegant ensemble. Markle paired the piece with minimal accessories, including a gold watch and bangle bracelet. When offstage, she layered her look with a black peacoat and black Lady Dior handbag. “Heels push you to be more energetic,” said Gianvito Rossi. “It’s much better to dress up and move around. That will keep you much younger than staying in sneakers or flats.” The Italian designer said yesterday at Milan Fashion Week that a significant fashion moment is underway as the pandemic recovery continues. “Finally we see a great comeback of dressing up again — heels, elegance, a renaissance.” In Rossi’s spring ’22 collection, themed around the concept of a shoe bar, the designer focused on several key styles, including a new platform sandal with a plexi upper, high stiletto heel and sharp pointy toe. Made in glossy patent leather, the style’s vibrant color palette also stands out. “The platform is very important,” he said. “I wanted to make it in a sandal on a pointy-toe shape, which is the first time you’ve ever seen that.” On the softer side, a new minimal two-strap sandal is made in chenille fabric, a fresh alternative to velvet.
