Paris Fashion Week kicked off with its first major runway show on Tuesday with a presentation from Christian Dior. For womenswear spring ’22, Dior creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri looked to the past and was inspired by the 1960s. Inside the Tuileries gardens, models walked in a range retro outfits, featuring colorful miniskirts and matching jackets, printed a-line dresses and glamorous fringed dresses. Kate Middleton wowed on the red carpet as members of the royal family attended the latest James Bond film, “No Time to Die,” premiere in London. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge hit the red carpet for a black-tie affair, with Prince William in a tuxedo and Middleton in a  glittering gold gown; the floor-sweeping Jenny Packham number featured sheer overlays and a cape silhouette with metallic detailing. Rosamund Pike is paying homage to Dior’s legacy with an elegant style statement during Paris Fashion Week.
