Both Jonathan Anderson’s namesake JW Anderson line and his work for Loewe have earned him the reputation of fashion’s current king of the surreal. The Spanish luxury leather brand has given the British designer near carte blanche to showcase the most inventive pieces, especially within the realm of accessories. Most especially, in the realm of footwear. That has included egg yolk heels, nail polish heels, rose petal heels, and so on. Even as Anderson has once more reinvigorated Loewe with a new look and focus on the body, the footwear has begun to take an even more interesting turn. The fall ’22 collection had leather boots bagged around the ankle and heeled sandals that looked like they were tied in a bow with Mylar. But the most exciting pieces were dresses and heels accented with 3D balloon shapes, from shoulders to bustiers, ankle straps to actual heels. Zendaya embodied logomania for Valentino’s Spring 2023 runway show during Paris Fashion Week. While arriving at the show on Sunday afternoon, Zendaya posed with her longtime stylist Law Roach . For the occasion, the “Spider Man” star wore a sheer catsuit covered in crystal “V” logos. Giving her ensemble a burst of slick glamour was an oversized black blazer, covered in the same V-shaped logos — a Valentino signature under Pierpaolo Piccioli — in embroidered sequins, complete with a matching set of micro-length shorts. Finishing her ensemble was a set of sparkling black chandelier earrings, featuring dark crystal fringe hanging from Swarovski-encrusted Rockstud post studs. Roach also dressed in all-black, pairing a 3D flower-accented coat with a leather Rockstud clutch. To his fashion fans, Rick Owens has long been known as the “Lord of Darkness.” With his signature long black coats, Creatch drop-crotch pants, and — as of late — sky-high platform boots with menacing metal grills, the American-born and longtime Paris-based designer has amassed a loyal following devoted to his Goth-meets-Mad-Max aesthetic. So it was a surprise to see the designer’s spring summer ’23 women’s collection filled with tulle, sequins and hot pink Barbiecore . Owens presented his new collection Thursday at Paris Fashion Week, showing at his usual venue outside the Palais de Tokyo, where an ever-growing menagerie of his fashion tribe gathers each season (in and outside the show) to sport some of the most over-the-top Rick Owens pieces out there (those platform boots are just the beginning). Beyoncé suited up to support Solange Knowles in New York City. The musician attended the New York City Ballet’s 2022 Fall Fashion Gala on Wednesday night to support Knowles, who was honored at the event for the original score she created for the company — and is notably the second Black woman to do so. Prior to arriving at the David H. Koch Theater for the occasion, Beyoncé posed in a collaged Instagram Reel  in two suiting outfits, styled by KJ Moody. The first featured a black power-shouldered custom Mugler bodysuit, featuring high-waisted bottoms with a sharply lapeled top over sheer black tights. The second — which the “Renaissance” musician eventually wore to the Gala — was a custom Sergio Hudson suit, featuring a black blazer with a bright red lining and matching trousers, paired with a satin-lined overcoat. Lauren Sanchez brought sunset hues to a sunset-cast date nigh with boyfriend Jeff Bezos this weekend. The former “Extra” correspondent posed with Bezos on a balcony in a new Instagram Stories photo, wearing a bright orange bodycon dress. The number featured a flared peplum hem, complete with off-the-shoulder straps. Sanchez completed her outfit with a diamond necklace and stud earrings.
