There are some gorgeous  swimsuit trends to try this summer (think retro floral prints , cool cutouts , and shimmery suits), but there’s one fresh, vintage-inspired swimwear trend that draws my attention more than any other:  crochet swimsuits. While in recent years, crochet has become increasingly synonymous with a certain granny aesthetic (and I love me a grandma trend ), these days, Gen Zers are also all over the handicraft, with cool girls posting videos on TikTok of their handmade crochet wears, including everything from bags to hats to swimwear. So with the grandma-meets–Gen Z trend having a major moment right now, it’s time to jump on board and sport a crochet bikini or one-piece on your next outing to the beach  or the pool or on vacation.
