I'll always remember the first time I had a video interview for a potential job. I was incredibly unfamiliar with how to put my best foot forward while being admittedly uncomfortable in front of a camera. Thankfully, videoconferencing has become my norm as I've spent the last five years working on teams located in cities spread across the country. And one thing I've learned from them, whether you're leading the call or just joining as a participant, is that everyone can tell when you're focused and ready. We were one week into shelter-in-place in the Bay Area, and I felt like I was letting things really fall apart. In addition to starting her own mini talk show on Instagram Live called Brightminded , she's also decided to give herself a DIY bang trim and her candidness on the result has us rolling. On her Tuesday episode of Brightminded, Cyrus talked all things self-care with hairstylist Justin Anderson and special guest Kristin Cavallari , and revealed she cut her own bangs with a pair of scissors she found in her home.
