I Didn’t Realize How Dry My Lips Were Until I Tried Summer Fridays’ New Butter Balm

Image
Image Source: POPSUGAR Photography / Renee Rodriguez Out of all of the beauty products I use on a daily basis, there is one beauty product I can't live without: lip balm . I carry a tube with me everywhere, without fail. I keep one in my car, in my coat pockets, and most recently, at my desk while I work from home. Because I use lip balm so frequently, I've tried out quite a few different brands. I'm always searching for the one product that will leave my lips feeling hydrated without having to constantly reapply. So far, the search has turned up fruitless - until now, thanks to the new Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm ($22). When I first heard about the product, I knew I had to buy it immediately (and I did - I clicked "add to cart" the very day it launched). I'm already a huge fan of the clean beauty brand's Jet Lag Mask , an ultra hydrating face mask that leaves your skin silky smooth, so I was hoping this new balm would be like Jet Lag Mask for lip

Why My 10+ Year Love Affair With Self Tanner Hasn't Stopped While Social-Distancing

Image
Like many of you reading this right now, I've been social distancing for three weeks and counting. I've been outside four times in the past week, and, in that time, I haven't spoken to anyone else face-to-face, in the flesh, but my partner. So why would I bother going to the effort of self-tanning while social-distancing? There are a few reasons, but the main one being, because I f*cking can. I've been a self-tan devotee since I was about 14 years old. In my teens, I was a competitive Irish dancer, which meant spray tans and slapping on Fake Bake Flawless Darker Liquid was a regular part of my routine. Faux tan was my uniform (no, seriously, it was a competing essential), and while the product takes up a much smaller portion of my schedule now, it's still very much a part of my life (thankfully, I use a lot less of the stuff now), whether I'm social distancing or not. Sergio Rossi CEO Riccardo Sciutto Calls the Design Legend his “Greatest Inspiration”

Image
“Now I have a double weight on my shoulders to do everything according to his DNA,” said Sergio Rossi CEO Riccardo Sciutto . He spoke exclusively to FN from Italy via Zoom following the news that shoe legend and namesake passed away last night from coronavirus. The two last spent time together over Christmas, the executive said, when they visited the Sergio Rossi archive that Sciutto has curated at the brand’s headquarters in Italian shoe district San Mauro Pascoli. “He was so amazed to see it all in one place. He said to me, ‘I can die here,'” Sciutto revealed. The CEO said that those words had been haunting him since he heard the news. Sciutto has kept the brand’s rich history — and extensive archives — in the spotlight since he took the helm in 2015 when Sergio Rossi was sold by previous owner Kering to Italian private equity firm Investindustrial.  Now he plans to continue the founder’s legacy. For one thing, the executive hopes to create a museum in San Mauro Pascoli de
