Cole Sprouse Could Star in Pirates of the Caribbean With This Social-Distancing Mustache

Image
View this post on Instagram A post shared by Cole Sprouse (@colesprouse) on May 7, 2020 at 7:59pm PDT Since the beginning of social distancing , some of our favorite stars have been experimenting with new hair colors (we see you, Hilary Duff ), giving each other haircuts , and growing out their facial hair (ahem, KJ Apa and Joe Jonas ). The latest celebrity to join the latter category is Cole Sprouse, Apa's Riverdale costar. Sprouse took to Instagram on Thursday to show us his new handlebar mustache, and we can't help but think he looks eerily similar to Johnny Depp circa 2003's Pirates of the Caribbean . He captioned his latest post simply: "How to polarize a young fanbase." We're not sure whether his fanbase approves, but we'll be damned if it's not a look . To Wear Makeup or Not? 6 Women Share Their Beauty Routines For Virtual Dates

Image
The novel coronavirus has changed a lot of the way we do things in everyday life. Shopping is done online, hair is cut at home , and dating has gone virtual - even more so than before. Not only are people meeting online through apps, but now due to social distancing and stay-at-home orders across the country, people are also attending dates digitally. FaceTime and Zoom dating have become more popular since restaurants and bars shuttered months ago. Instead of meeting up in person, people are opting to meet over computer and phone screens, nestled in the comfort of their homes . Which begs the question: do you still go all out with your beauty prep for a date that's over the phone? There is the benefit that the screen provides you with an automatic blurring filter and you only really need to get "dressed up" from the waist up. (We - or at least I - have already decided that jeans are out of the question and yoga pants or leggings are the only way to roll for digital int

Meghan Markle Looks Like the Chillest Mom in Her Chambray Shirt and Topknot Bun

Image
Leave it to Meghan Markle to look like the chillest mom for Archie's first birthday . For the milestone, Meghan and Prince Harry released a rare video of their adorable son. In the video, Meghan wore a low-key chambray shirt to read Archie one of his favorite books, Duck! Rabbit! , as he wiggled around. (We're still not over the part when the birthday boy dropped the book on the floor and asked Dad - who was filming - to pick it up for him. How cute!) Instead of dressing up, Meghan looked effortless in an oversize chambray shirt and white shorts. She also tied her hair up in a relaxed topknot, which just added to the chill factor. Archie, on the other hand, looked cute in a simple white onesie as he sat on his mother's lap. Meghan styled the simple button-down shirt with a stack of bracelets including a stone one from Tai Jewelry , which is already sold out. This isn't the first time Meghan has worn a super laid-back outfit. Remember when she took off the belt of her

Reese Witherspoon's Throwback Pic Is a Casual Reminder of How Wild '90s Beauty Really Was

Image
Reese Witherspoon wants you to know that Drew Barrymore is to thank for the thin eyebrows she had in the '90s. The Little Fires Everywhere actress took to Instagram on May 7 to share a throwback photo from the premiere of the film Nowhere in 1997. Along with the eyebrows, the photo shows Witherspoon wearing two chokers around her neck and a baby-blue tank top. Her hair is pulled up into mini knots, and it's a fun reminder of just how wild beauty trends were back then. "Ahhh... 90's style," her caption said. "Going through some old photos and pretty sure @gwenstefani is responsible for this hair trend, @drewbarrymore inspired these eyebrows and @jaredleto is responsible for my leather choker. Thanks guys!" It all checks out, although we wouldn't be mad if she tried to re-create this exact same look today. Take a look at a few more throwback pics of Witherspoon at the Nowhere premiere ahead. Source: https://ift.tt/2YHTC6B

The Best Heat-Protecting Sprays to Keep Your Hair Safe From Even the Hottest Styling Tools

Image
Some things just go together. Peanut butter and jelly. Wine and cheese. Your hair and heat-protecting spray. That last one may sound random in comparison to the others, but it's true. Whether you heat style your hair every day, every other day, once a month, or once a year, you should always be applying some sort of serum or spray that'll protect it from potential damage that styling tools - many of which can reach up to 450 degrees - can cause. It's kind of like how you wouldn't (or you at least shouldn't) leave your house without putting on sunscreen . In the event that you're planning on giving yourself a salon-quality blowout , a silk press, or a bold set of curls, we've rounded up some of our favorite heat protectants that'll keep your hair safe from damage. How the Milk Makeup Kush Triple Brow Pen Took My Full Eyebrows From Sloppy to Sleek

Image
Other than the two times I swept on some gel before a virtual happy hour , I haven't done anything to my brows since early March. As you can see, I am blessed with rather full ones and managed to come out of the pluck-happy '90s with all my hair intact. I know I'm being tactful in my description, but I've grown accustomed to their natural unruliness over the years. I don't own any brow scissors or tweezers , so even if I wanted to clean things up in the two months since I've gotten them waxed , I couldn't. Instead, I'm using this time to experiment with beauty treatments and decided to see just how bold I could make my already-bold brows with the new Kush Triple Brow Pen from Milk Makeup. I really had to get a grip on how to best use this product, and I'm sharing what I've learned with you ahead. Source: https://ift.tt/2WfIdcw
