Olivia Culpo is turning the face mask into this season’s most stylish accessory. Cardi B took things back to the ’90s with her latest Instagram post. Taking to the photo-sharing platform last night, the hip-hop star posted a video of herself strutting around the backyard clad in a wool beret and pleated miniskirt, both in Burberry ’s signature plaid. The skirt is available to shop on Farfetch.com for $990, while the beret is now sold out. Cardi teamed her skirt with a white turtleneck top. The pointed-toe pumps featured a slim stiletto heel, along with a low-cut topline and vamp, which is meant to flatter the foot and legs by creating the illusion of additional height. The pumps appeared to be Christian Louboutin’s So Kate. The style is available in the colorway chosen by Cardi on Bergdorfgoodman.com, with a $695 price tag. CREDIT: Courtesy of Bergdo

Prince William traded his formal ensemble for a lab coat and face mask as he paid a visit to the Oxford Vaccine Group’s facility at the Churchill Hospital in Oxford, England. Cardi B and Kulture Have Mommy-and-Me Burberry Outfits, and Yes, Velcro Sneakers Are Involved

Image
Cardi B and her daughter, Kulture , got all decked out in Burberry outfits for a mini sunset shoot. Man, I'll tell you, if my mom had dressed me in this luxury look rather than the sage-colored leggings and jelly shoes I pretty much sported every single day, I'd be singing her praise right now. So yes, I do hope Kulture grows up to appreciate this mommy-and-me outfit. Kulture and Cardi both wore pleated Burberry skirts, the difference being the price tag, of course (Kulture's retails for just below $200, while Cardi's rings in at a cool $990). While Cardi accessorized her look with a checked Burberry beret affixed with statement pins - it's no longer available, but perhaps it's vintage - Kulture was her tomboy counterpart in a miniature baseball cap. Cue the awws. I'm also team Kulture in the sense that I'd absolutely opt for velcro Burberry sneakers over tall, white pumps, but then again, walking in heels comes easily to Cardi. Cardi also posted a vid

The Brown Beauty Co-op Is More Than a Retailer - It's a "Beauty Playground" For Women of Color

Image
In an industry that's been criticized for its lack of diversity, sometimes all you can do is carve out a special place for yourself and the countless other women who often feel underrepresented - and that's exactly what Washington, D.C., residents Kimberly Smith and Amaya Smith did in 2018 with The Brown Beauty Co-op . The two women - who are best friends, not sisters - joined forces over a year ago to create their D.C.-based retail space that offers a curated selection of makeup, hair, and skin-care products made by and for people of color. The business is a cooperative of Kimberly's Marjani Beauty , an online shop selling women of color-marketed makeup and skin-care products, and Amaya's Product Junkie , a collection of natural hair products from Black-owned brands. With Kimberly being a corporate healthcare attorney by background and Amaya, a former communications executive at a nonprofit, their partnership was birthed as a result of their frustration with the be

This Is What Angel Merino's Beauty Routine Looked Like For a Virtual Pride This Year

Image
Pride Month in June is something that members of the LGBTQ+ community look forward to all year. So, when COVID-19 interfered with this year's festivities, canceling all of the large-scale, in-person events and parades that have become synonymous with Pride, many people were understandably upset - especially coming after the all-out celebrations of Stonewall 50 WorldPride 2019 the year prior. "I was pretty bummed at all of the festivals across the country were canceled due to COVID," Angel Merino , megainfluencer and founder of Artist Couture , told POPSUGAR. "Pride is always something that's super near and dear to my heart personally, as a member of the LGBTQI community." But instead of calling it quits, Merino started brainstorming a way to celebrate Pride Month in a different way - virtually. "I wanted to still be able to celebrate Pride but also just make it about equality in general and really be supportive of not only the LGBTQI community but
