Drew Barrymore just pulled off a fashion faux pas. Over the weekend, Barrymore and a plethora of other stars attended a summer celebration hosted by Gucci and the Saltzman family in honor of the opening of the label’s East Hampton boutique. For the A-list event, Barrymore took a fashion risk when she sported the label’s Ouverture black and ivory silk shirt that was adorned with a poppy flower print. The actress teamed the shirt with a black checked wool skirt — also from the label. Mixing patterns and prints can be a challenge as the combination can make an outfit look busy and inconsistent, however, Barrymore mastered the styling hack — due in part to the fact that both the skirt and shirt are of similar hues. This allows the look to feel coordinated despite the different designs. For the Cannes premiere of his new film “The French Dispatch,” directed by Wes Anderson, Chalamet stunned on the red carpet in one of his signature streamlined ensembles. On this occasion, he wore a custom silver jacquard tuxedo by Tom Ford. The slim-fitting suit featured sharp lapels and pleated trousers, which Chalamet paired with a white banded collar shirt. On the accessories front, he layered several silver rings and bracelets — including one of Cartier’s Juste un Clou cuffs — and debuted two new cartilage piercings with matching thin black hoop earrings. On Monday, the supermodel enjoyed a boat day — in a look that screams “luxurious summer.” For her day on the water, Hadid opted for a vibrant yellow dress that was adorned with ruffles and was finalized with a high slit. Hadid accessorized with rimless sunglasses and a plethora of stacked bracelets on her wrist. As for footwear, Hadid opted for a summer staple: strappy sandals.
