Alexander McQueen has released the lookbook to its spring/summer 2023 menswear collection. This season, the collection is inspired by science and structure. According to the run of show, the line also explores the dissection of tailoring and the supernatural feeling of the night sky. As for footwear, Chelsea boots and derby shoes with commando soles in black and white leather were seen throughout. Chelsea boots with stack soles and trompe l’oeil detailing in black leather also made an appearance, as did the Sprint Runner in pale lilac, powder blue, white, and black and white leather. Gabrielle Union made a relaxed statement while at the beach with her step-daughter, Zaya Wade. The “Being Mary Jane” star posed against a boardwalk railing with Wade on Instagram , wearing a cream ribbed knit skirt and a brown bikini top. The New Orleans-based event celebrates Black music and culture in partnership with Essence magazine, including numerous star performances; this year’s features Jackson, Nicki Minaj, Jazmine Sullivan, and The Roots. In her newest  Instagram Reel , Jackson was filmed walking through the event’s Be Bold dinner party and dancing with attendees in a bodycon maxi dress, covered in a gray and black houndstooth print. Ashanti is embracing pink as her color for the Essence Summer Festival of 2022 in an Alex Perry cape dress. With this highly glamorous look, Ashanti swept the night . The dress was a bubblegum pink color that featured a square neck front with a thin bodice. Her sleeves puckered around her shoulders, as chiffon sleeves drifted down with a slight slit, exposing her arms. The dress had many elements and almost mirrored a modernized style of royal-wear. She didn’t wear many accessories, because, with a dress like that, it would be overbearing.
