With celebrities like Lizzo, Kylie Jenner, and Khloé Kardashian frequently making the news for their sometimes playful and often elaborate manicures, we thought we had seen all there is to see when it comes to wild and out-there nail art - then TikTok entered the chat. The social media platform is a treasure trove when it comes to discovering everything from pop culture trends to life-changing beauty hacks, but we can't say that anything on the app has puzzled us more than one nail tech's hilarious nail-art tutorials that see him making acrylic nails out of some pretty obscure objects.

The user, who goes by @brothernailtech on the platform, is a professional nail tech who joined the platform to show off his work, which he often showcases on his partner, who also does nails. His page is a mixture of videos that see him creating everything from serious nail designs using neon and metallic colors to others that involve crazy materials like Hot Cheetos, grass, and even a whole tortilla.
