In order to slow the spread of the coronavirus, the CDC now recommends wearing a face mask in public. Just as fashion brands are stepping up to help produce medical-grade masks and gowns for healthcare workers during the pandemic, many of them are now adjusting to customer's requests for non-surgical cotton masks and offering 1+1 or 5+5 match packages online. For example, when you purchase Christy Dawn's set - which comes in whimsical prints and patterns on 100 percent cotton - five masks will be delivered straight to your address and the other five will be donated to medical workers, so you can give back too. Reformation also offers three different options with its Millions of Masks initiative: purchase five sustainably-made cotton masks for yourself, donate five masks to the healthcare system, or buy in bulk for your company.

We like to see that a lot of these labels are recycling fabrics from past collections or, in the case of denim brand Sixty-Nine, using scraps from jeans that could have been thrown away or used for a different purpose. Alice + Olivia's Stacey Bendet was one of the first designers to begin selling cotton masks with her iconic Staceface print, and we are sure that there are more to come.
