I like to consider myself a makeup minimalist. My daily look pretty much consists of tinted moisturizer and the same orangish eyeshadow. It's a good day if I feel like adding mascara. Needless to say, I pretty much never wear lipstick, I'm much more of a lip balm kind of girl. If I want to add some color to my look, I prefer tinted lip choices because they're moisturizing and give me that tiny color pop I want.

My current favorite is hands down the Billie Lip Salve ($9). What makes it so good? Not only does it give my lips the perfect amount of color, but it's so moisturizing, I don't feel the need to reapply constantly. What I can really get behind is the brand's mission. It all started because the founders thought women were being overcharged for razors (they're right) and now they're expanding into clean cosmetics made with ingredients you'll actually want to put on your face and in your hair. I have a few favorite tinted lip balms, but some can cost upwards of $20. So, I also love that this one is more affordable.

The salve is made with four key ingredients: sunflower oil, avocado oil, candelilla wax, and vitamin E - making it vegan and paraben-, sulfate-, alcohol-, and cruelty-free, so you can feel good about using it.
