Kerry Washington, Storm Reid, and More Rock "Phenomenally Black" Tee For a Powerful Cause
Kerry Washington, Storm Reid, Laura Harrier, and more are expressing their power with pride by wearing matching t-shirts for a good cause. Amid racial justice protests against police brutality, celebrities are raising awareness and funds for the Black community by sporting a "Phenomenally Black" tee from Phenomenal Woman. They've shared social media snaps of themselves wearing the top, along with a similar message of support.
"Millions of protesters across the country are speaking out against anti-black racism and police violence. But we still have a lot of work to do, and we can't let up. So keep going. Continue fighting for our Phenomenally Black community until there's full accountability," the statement reads.
All the proceeds from this top will go to Black Future Labs, a non-profit founded by Alicia Garza, a co-creator of Black Lives Matter. Black Futures Lab focuses on building Black political power on a local, statewide, and national level.
