Jill Biden’s Church Style Includes a Bright Purple Dress & Sleek Metallic Kitten Heels
Jill Biden spent her Sunday at St. Joseph on the Brandywine Roman Catholic Church in Wilmington, Del. for a Confirmation mass for her granddaughter, Natalie Biden.
The former second lady made her way out of the cathedral following the service, opting for a standout look that teamed a bright purple knee-length dress with a white jacket and a matching lilac face mask.
When it came down to footwear, Jill decided to bring the ensemble to a new level in sleek silver heels. The slingback pair featured a sharply pointed toe with cutout panels across the side and a uniquely tapered heel design. The pair bears a striking resemblance to Prada’s Buckle kitten heel slingback design with its sleek sheen and adjustable fit. The Sunday service wasn’t Biden’s first time sporting the standout silver heels, either. In March, at a rally for her husband Joe Biden’s bid for the White House, Jill matched her designer shoes to a white pleated dress and a stylish green jacket in Los Angeles.
When it comes to shoes, the former educator has always been a fan of slingback silhouettes, which are known for their ease of wear thanks to straps around the bank of the ankle. Her go-to brands include Dior and Givenchy. She also is known for her love of running and in the past has preferred workout-ready footwear from running brand On.
Most recently, Jill modeled sensible wedges as she kicked off a back-to-school tour through 10 major cities with a stop in Wilmington, Del.; she visited classrooms and learned about the school’s plan for virtual learning for the upcoming semester before speaking to staff outdoors on the school grounds. The former second lady dressed up for the occasion in a blue layered three-piece set, teaming a blazer over a high-neck blouse and a knee-length pencil skirt. She accented the outfit with her signature pearl jewelry.
