Kristin Cavallari Gets Daring in a Peek-a-Boo Gown & the Strappiest Sandals

Kristin Cavallari turned heads as she made her way to the 2020 American Music Awards; Cavallari presented an award during the show last night.

Spotted heading to the show in Los Angeles on Sunday night, the “Laguna Beach” alumna previewed her stunning evening look courtesy of the Attico. The soft plum number features a tie-neck top with a coordinating peek-a-boo side tying closure, all made from a surprisingly comfortable jersey fabric; you can find the long-sleeve number on sale now from $1,440 down to $860 at Net-a-Porter.

As for footwear, Cavallari tapped one of her most beloved designers to top off her outfit of the night. The Stuart Weitzman sandals were made from a glittering gold upper, coating the strappy silhouette in a metallic sheen. Titled the Merina silhouette, the ankle-wrapping design comes set atop a 4.5-inch heel for an added boost of height.

While they typically retail for $449, the Stuart Weitzman Merinda heels are on-sale online now at Farfetch for $359.

When it comes to dressier footwear, the 33-year-old star usually prefers teetering stilettos for her formal occasions — she told FN in 2017 it’s “always” heels over flats. Her collection, highlighting styles from likes of Gianvito Rossi, Prada and, of course, Stuart Weitzman could be seen in her former TV series “Very Cavallari.”

Beyond both red carpet looks and her off-duty trends, Cavallari also has longtime ties to the footwear and fashion industries. She became a brand ambassador for Chinese Laundry in 2012 and designed her own collection with the brand for several years. She also founded her own accessories brand Uncommon James in 2017, with jewelry retailing for under $75, and has her Little James Clothing line for children.
