Sofia Vergara Goes Red Hot in a Lace Bustier Dress at the 2020 E! People’s Choice Awards

Sofia Vergara stole the show at the 2020 E! People’s Choice Awards last night as she accepted the Comedy Star of 2020 title.

The “Modern Family” alumna arrived on the scene for yesterday’s socially distanced award show in a red lace bustier-style dress with a voluminous skirt from Dolce & Gabbana. The actress currently serves as a brand ambassador for the Italian fashion house and appeared in a campaign to promote the label’s new Devotion handbag earlier this year.

As for footwear, Vergara opted for a bold addition to her standout look in glittering, ruby-embellished gold sandals with an almond toe and lifted hee.

When it comes to personal style, the television personality and judge can oftentimes be found in towering pairs of heels and stilettos, previously sporting styles from Amina Muaddi, Saint Laurent and more top brands in addition to her beloved Christain Louboutin heels. For more casual occasions, Vergara prefers pieces from her own Sofia Jeans by Sofia Vergara line of wallet-friendly apparel and jeans for Walmart.

The “America’s Got Talent” star also can be found in ads for Foster Grant, modeling styles from her debut collection with the eyewear brand. In addition to offering glasses, Vergara and Foster Grant also plan to donate one pair of reading glasses to Restoring Vision for every pair of eyewear sold; RestoringVision empowers lives by helping millions of people regain their sight across the globe.

The 2020 E! People’s Choice Awards were hosted by Demi Lovato, who arrived on the red carpet last night in a red sequin ensemble. She completed the look with Giuseppe Zanotti heels, which were hidden. The ceremony was broadcasted live at from the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif. The ceremony will also honor Jennifer Lopez with the People’s Icon Award and Tyler Perry with the People’s Champion of 2020 Award.
