Stepping out in New York with her beau Emilio Vitolo Jr., the “Batman Begins” actress modeled a cozy layered ensemble that included classic mom jeans and a soft black coat. The real eye-catching element of the look came with her fuzzy sweater, a rich purple number that added depth and a hit of brightness to her outfit.

In the past, Holmes has styled the sleek boots with a mix of winter-ready looks. In November, for example, she ran errands across Manhattan, stopping to shop for books and to grab a cup of coffee along the way. For the outing, the actress opted for a chic soft gray double-breasted peacoat layered over navy blue tailored trousers;  she completed the look with a leather tan purse and an Evolvetogether face mask.
