Kim Kardashian’s Silky Suit & Fuzzy Dior Slippers Are the Epitome of 2020 Style

Kim Kardashian helped debuted Dior Men’s fall ’21 collection this week by showing off the versatility of a good suit.

Modeling new pieces from the menswear collection, the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star slipped on the silliest sky blue blazer and coordinating pants over sheer lace gloves. Accessorized with a logo-coated belt and a graphic beret, Kim then matched the suit to an unexpected shoe: slippers.

The media personality’s Dior slippers came coated in a furry outer layer, accented by the brand’s logo displayed across the uppers. Set atop a sturdy outsole, the slip-on design provided a comfy finishing touch to Kim’s more dressed-up attire.

The combination of a silk suit and fuzzy slippers channels all the best of 2020 trends. Silky styles and pajama-inspired loungewear has become the new normal when it comes to celebrity style. Amidst the current health crisis, the world of fashion is turning towards clothing that provides a sense of comfort and stability with ease of wear; that includes everything from biker shorts and hoodies to soft pants like Kim Kardashians’s pick. In regards to footwear, there has been an increased appreciation for slippers, sneakers and 1990s-style silhouettes — think thong sandals and chunky platforms — as celebrities and fans alike look for familiarity in their shoes.

While the cozy Dior slippers aren’t yet available, similar relaxed styles from the brand retail from $790 to $850 at Dior.com. In addition to Kim Kardashian, fellow stars J Balvin and Robert Pattinson also helped Dior introduce its newest collection.

When it comes to her own personal style, Kim Kardashian favors apparel from her husband Kanye West’s Yeezy collections for footwear and apparel as well, in addition to sneakers and boots from his Adidas Yeezy line. She styles the pieces with coordinating looks from Balmain, Balenciaga, Amina Muaddi, Stuart Weitzman and Bottega Veneta.

In addition to stylish looks on and off the set of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” Kim also dipped her toes into the fashion and beauty world with a mix of ventures. She created her Skims shapewear line in 2019, featuring a mix of inclusive designs and now affordable face masks too. Additionally, the media personality also founded her own makeup line, KKW Beauty, last fall.
