Miley Cyrus Channels the 1980s in Metallic Leggings & Bright Blue Boots with Billy Idol
Miley Cyrus channeled 1980s rock star style this week as she sat down for a virtual chat with none other than Billy Idol.
The two musicians conversed about Cyrus’ new album for Apple Music, as shared by the “Midnight Sky” singer herself on Instagram last night. To chat with the legendary “Dancing With Myself” singer, Cyrus decided to go all out in a The Pretenders band tee layred over blue metallic leggings with the fuzziest blue floppy hat to match.
Keeping with the color theme, the 28-year-old threw on bright shades and unmissable knee-high metallic blue pointed-toe boots. Labels like Amina Muaddi and Paris Texas offer similar silhouettes that range in price from $683 to $985.
Earlier this week week, Cyrus debuted another one of her most unexpectedly daring looks to date today.
The “Plastic Hearts” singer unveiled the lyric video for her newest single featuring an accumulation of fan videos with her own surprise appearance in the end. In the final clip that was also shared on her TikTok, Cyrus could be seen strutting her way down a hallway in a daring look that teamed a black graphic tee with sheer tights and standout boots.
The lifted pair came set atop a studded platform with a coordinating block heel that measures a whopping 7 inches in height. Set with a mix of silver and black uppers, the design bears resemblance to Harris Reed x Roker’s standout platform boots that come coated in shimmering crystals. While Cyrus herself is best known for her hit albums and box office films, she also dips her toes in the fashion and shoe space. The “Last Song” star made an appearance on the runway at the Marc Jacobs’ fall ’20 show and has also sat front row at shows for top labels such as Tom Ford and Saint Laurent. The Converse collaborator has been vegan for years, and she oftentimes embraces wardrobe pieces that are cruelty-free.
