Vanessa Hudgens Elevates a Little Black Dress With Towering 6-Inch Platforms at MTV GOAT Awards
Vanessa Hudgens served up a series of unmissable looks as she hosted the 2020 MTV Movie & TV Awards: Greatest of All Time.
To kick things off last night, the “Beastly” actress arrived on the socially distanced red carpet in all-black attire; her strapless black mini dress came from Versace, cinched together with a thin leather belt. Similar designs from the brand retail for $5,795 at Farfetch.com.
In her choice of footwear, Hudgens elevated the little black dress with towering 6-inch heels. The lifted style comes from Casadei and features a thin heel with a platform peep-toe silhouette. Though the black colorway isn’t currently available, a red suede iteration of the brand’s Flora pumps retail for $782 courtesy of Farfetch.
Later in the evening, once the show’s cameras started rolling, Hudgens took the stages in a silky pink gown from Tony Ward Couture designs. The peek-a-boo cutout dress came matched to soft pink gloves with a dramatic train to tout.
In one of her final looks of the night, the “High School Musical” alumna took on a Christopher Kane creation complete with cutout side panels and a voluminous skirt. The actress then once more tapped Casadei for her footwear, as tagged by her stylist Jason Bolden.
The MTV Movie & TV Awards: Greatest of All Time honored the most memorable moments in television and film history, with awards going to everyone from Kevin Bacon in “Footloose” to Sarah Michelle Gellar and Selma Blair in “Cruel Intentions.” The late Chadwick Boseman was also honored as the GOAT: Hero for the Ages.
As for Hudgens’ everyday style, the “Princess Switch” star‘s taste can be described as boho-chic. She was dubbed the “Queen of Coachella” back in 2018. Her closet includes many flowing silhouettes, ruffled designs, floral numbers and tie-dye accents that give off a ’70s-inspired feel.
