Kate Middleton Just Swapped Her Skinny Jeans for This Polished Trend

When Kate Middleton isn't wearing her signature A-line dresses, she's usually in a pair of skinny jeans and boots. Lately, however, she's been relying on a chic, polished staple that's a bit more formal but no less comfortable: wide-leg trousers. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge paid a visit to The Way Youth Zone in Wolverhampton, U.K., to mark Mental Health Awareness Week.

For the excursion, Middleton needed something sophisticated enough for meetings but laidback enough for a play date with kids. Her Tory Burch polka-dot blouse and Jigsaw Sport pants were the perfect solutions. Scroll down to see how the duchess styled wide-leg trousers and shop similar pieces.

On Kate Middleton: Tory Burch Scalloped Polka Dot Silk Shirt (sold out); Freya Rose Mini Hoops With Detachable Pearls ($172); Amaia face mask; Jigsaw Sport trousers; Emmy London shoes
