Addison Rae tapped into her edgy side for an episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”
While heading to Kimmel’s studio during a press day for her new film “He’s All That,” Rae was spotted in a red latex dress by Saint Laurent. The bold red number featured a halterneck top and knee-length skirt within its’ slim-fitting silhouette. The TikTok star worked with stylist Molly Dickson, pairing the piece with silver chain stud earrings and a set of triangular silver drop earrings with black stones. A layered gold anklet completed her look.
The 20-year-old influencer’s shoe choice was equally sleek: a pair of black studded mules. The now sold-out Vanilla Balls style featured heels totaling at least four inches in height, as well as toe straps covered in silver studs. Rae’s shoes amplified her look’s edgy nature, while also smoothly pairing with her earrings and providing a neutral base for her dress to shine.
Mules are one of the most popular shoe styles this summer, due to their roots in early 2000s fashion. The style has exploded since it gained traction, appearing in numerous colors, heel heights and accents from brands like Aquazzura, Bottega Veneta and Salvatore Ferragamo. The A-list has also taken notice of the trend; stars like Vanessa Hudgens, Angelina Jolie and Emily Ratajkowski, among others, have been seen in the style in recent weeks.
This isn’t the first bold pair of shoes Rae’s worn for “He’s All That” press, either. Yesterday, the budding actress donned a Dolce & Gabbana bustier dress with coordinating crystal-covered Mach&Mach pumps. The pair’s pointed toes added a sharp finish to her look, while also making a statement with a burst of bling.
Rae’s shoe style is often casual, frequently including sneakers by Nike, Converse, and Reebok. Off-duty, she also prefers fluffy boots, slides and slippers by Ugg. However, when it comes to events and the red carpet, Rae amps up the glamour with colorful sandals and pointed-toe pumps by Sophia Webster, Kat Maconie, Roberto Cavalli, and other top brands. However, she’s no stranger to budget-friendly pairs, also wearing styles in recent weeks from affordable labels like Imagine by Vince Camuto and Aldo.
