Kate Upton Gets All Dolled Up in a Ribbed Crop Top & Bodycon Skirt With Mind-Bending Heels
Kate Upton proved once more what we already know to be true this week: matching outfit sets make everything better.
The “Layover” actress showed off her own coordinating look on Instagram last night as she posed for a quick mirror selfie in the chic ensemble. Upton’s outfit featured a matching ribbed green sports bra with a peek-a-boo cutout bodycon skirt to match.
Color-coordinated attire has quickly become the must-see styling hack of 2021, offering a streamlined route into a chic ensemble. Major names like Tracee Ellis Ross, Eva Longoria and even Michelle Obama and Jill Biden have tried out the trend for themselves in the past weeks alone.
On her feet, the model decided to break up the color theme of her look with contrasting white mules. While the pointed-toe pair had a classic appeal with a low dipping vamp, they strayed from the norm with a mind-bending PVC panel that made the cross-foot strap appear to magically stop halfway.
Upton herself is a major fan of a statement footwear moment. Most recently, she debuted a colorful pink and yellow pump to match a bright checkered sweater and skinny trousers ensemble.
In 2020, Upton spent most of her days home with husband Justin Verlander before the MLB season returned. The couple gave back by donating Verlander’s weekly paycheck to charitable organizations. Since they announced their plan in April 2020, the duo’s work included donating 25,000 masks to the Detroit Police Department and another 25,000 masks to Covenant House New York, in addition to working with the American Gold Star Mothers, a group composed of families who have lost a son or daughter during their service in the military.
On top of her philanthropic ways, Upton has had a successful multi-faceted career, serving as the face of Neiman Marcus, Express, Canada Goose and more.
