Back to Basics: The Only Pieces I Want to Wear Right Now

Over the past few weeks I've tried to stay busy and productive. I've filled free time with small projects like organizing my closet, reading new books, even baking! I've noticed that the things that bring me the most joy are quite simple, and the way I dress is no exception.

I've come to appreciate the necessity for great basics that focus on fit, style, and wearability over trend. I'm wearing a fraction of my wardrobe right now, rotating a select few sweatshirts, oversized button-downs, easy straight leg denim, cardigans, ribbed tanks, and white tee shirts. Editing down your wardrobe is actually very freeing because you feel confident in the pieces you own and love. This month has been a lesson in conscious consumption. I want fewer pieces, better quality, and I'm quickly realizing that basics are anything but boring.
