The New Yeezy Slides Are Here When Our WFH Outfit Needs Them Most

TBH, I was not at all surprised that when I arrived at the landing page for the April drop of the Adidas x Yeezy slides, I was greeted by a giant spinning wheel, which promised me my shopping experience was loading. "You are in the waiting room. Sale has started. We are now taking orders. Do not refresh page." These were my instructions, right above images of the famous foam shoes in three different colorways: bone, resin (my favorite), and the newest addition, earth brown. Leave it to Kanye West to offer sizing by Adult, Grade School, and Toddler, retailing for $55, $45, and $35, respectively. Gosh darn it, I wish my foot were smaller so I could revel in the opportunity to wear a resin-colored slingback!

Within five to 10 minutes, a bell dings on your computer and you're permitted to see if your specific size is still shoppable in the slip-on with the recognizable toothy sole. With these fitting so well into today's work-from-home aesthetic - just slip them on with a fuzzy sock and cute ribbed co-ord set! - I'm sure they'll be sold out soon. Zendaya went viral on the red carpet for the Parisian premiere of her new film, “Dune.” The Emmy-winning actress stunned in a deep purple dress from Alaïa’s spring 2022 collection, the first line for the house by designer Pieter Mulier. Her outfit featured an extra-cropped top with long sleeves, as well as an angular bodice hem. Its slim-fitting skirt ended in a train of dark maroon and black feathers.
