Reese Witherspoon Shares Her Unusual Couture Outfit Mixed With These Affordable Shoes

Reese Witherspoon shared a throwback with her Instagram fans showing off one of her more unusual “outfits of the day,” which included a couture Carolina Herrera suit paired with a Madewell coat. For footwear, the “Big Little Lies” star wore a pair of affordable Stars Above fuzzy pool slides.

Witherspoon’s Stars Above Kacey Slide features a sandal style silhouette made of soft faux fur material. The outsole is designed for both indoor and outdoor surfaces making it the perfect slipper for transitional wear. The shoe is out of season, but can still be found on Poshmark for $15.

The affordable slipper is a significant contrast to Witherspoon’s Carolina Herrara black off-the-shoulder corset top which retails for $2,190 at Neiman Marcus.

“A throwback to remind us all that a great ensemble is all about balance. I’m here for all your #OOTD needs. #tbt,” she captioned her post.

This summer, Witherspoon has dressed in style, wearing pastel colored florals from her southern-inspired clothing brand Draper James.

Just last month, the “Legally Blonde” actress gave her infamous Elle Woods character a makeover with a pretty pink ensemble from the latest Draper James collection. Dressed in a floral dress and a checkered pink and white sweater draped over her shoulders, Witherspoon posed on her front porch. This time, Witherspoon opted for a classic white sneaker, wearing Tretor Rawlins that feature its curved accent in navy.

When she’s not wearing cute ensembles from her own clothing line, Witherspoon tends to favor top brands like Armani, Jimmy Choo and Christian Louboutin. Her go-to sneaker brand is a Hoka One One and the actress can often be seen stepping out for a run in the chunky shoes.
