Gigi Hadid Makes a Case for Wearing Rubber Boots in the Snow

Even as a new mom, Gigi Hadid continues to make fashion statements and her latest involves a pair of designer rubber boots.
The supermodel took to Instagram stories to show off her latest off-duty winter look, complete with a tan pair of wellies from American designer, Heron Preston.
Hadid embraced the East Coast snow wearing a pair of boots not available online from the designer. She tucked in a pair of brown velour pants into the tall shafted shoe.
The model and high fashion influencer made a case for wearing rubber boots as an alternative to snow boots while out in the winter slush. Easy to slip on and waterproof, rain boots are a great footwear alternative to opt for an adventure out in the snow.

Luxury brands are also tapping into the rubber rain boot as of late. The utilitarian style was spotted on several runways for the fall ’20 season.
Among the notables is a pair from Bottega Veneta, which released its $650 version earlier this year. Dubbed the Puddle Boot, the luxury rubber rain boot is available in five different colorways and made out of biodegradable materials.

If you choose to wear wellies like Hadid while venturing out in the snow, be sure to pair the shoes with some wool socks to keep your feet warm.
