Dua Lipa Is a Modern-Day Forest Nymph in a Unique Blazer, Ultra Mini Skirt & Knee-High Boots
Dua Lipa’s birthday gifted us with a never-ending rotation of stylish ensembles.
The singer, who turned 26 years old over the weekend, shared another chic outfit from her celebrations. This time around, the look tapped Maximilian’s spring ’21 collection for a structured asymmetric blazer and coordinating mini skirt moment.
Rounding out the look for the “Don’t Start Now” musician was a set of knee-high patent leather boots with a croc-embossed finish. Knee-high and thigh-high boots are the must-have boot silhouettes this season. From leather twists on the trend to edgy lace-up styles, you can find the taller shoes on everyone from Ciara to Bella Hadid and Gwen Stefani amongst other major names. In colder temperatures, the silhouettes offer coverage to counter skirts, dresses and shorts as well as provides an extra layer to any leggings or jeans look.
Taking to Instagram again to express her excitement over her big day on Sunday, the “Levitating” musician showed off her true Leo side in another bold suit. The unique design included multicolored rhinestones perfectly aligned in stripes across the navy blazer and coordinating tailored trousers. The outfit also included a lacy bralette and a funky fuzzy hat from Mowalola.
Beyond an award-winning music career, Dua Lipa herself dips her toes in the fashion world quite often. From sitting from rows at major shows during Fashion Month to selecting daring duds for red carpet appearances, she keeps things regularly exciting. The British musician previously appeared in campaigns for YSL Beauté and Fragrance, Adidas and Pepe Jeans amongst others.
Her ensembles and style are credited to celebrity stylist Lorenzo Posocco; Dua Lipa is Posocco’s main clientele but he has also worked with Troye Sivan and Alex Demie in the past. Most recently, Dua Lipa signed on as a Puma ambassador with a multi-year deal as she serves as the face of its women’s business.
