Kourtney Kardashian Laces Up in Daring Bustier Dress & Ankle-Wrap Sandals For the MTV VMAs
Kourtney Kardashian’s outfit for the 2021 MTV VMAs might be her most daring yet.
The Poosh founder hit the red carpet at Barclays Center on Sunday in Brooklyn with beau Travis Barker, wearing an undeniably edgy Olivier Theyskens minidress. Styled by Dani Michelle, the black leather number featured long sleeves and a cinched, bustier-like bodice. However, the off-the-shoulder piece’s boldest features were lace-up ties that ran from its neckline to the navel, making Kardashian’s outfit instantly sultry and sleek. The ensemble was paired with a matching black Prada top-handle bag, as well as silver Ofira rings and Lorraine Schwartz earrings. Barker coordinated in similarly dark tones, wearing brogues and a spike-accented suit from Thom Browne’s Fall 2012 collection.
When it came to shoes, Kardashian tapped Manolo Blahnik for a set of trendy ankle-wrap sandals. The pair’s black leather uppers paired smoothly with her dress, creating a monochrome look. Their thin toe straps and laces, as well as thin heels that totaled at least three inches in height, also matched the lace-up detailing on Kardashian’s dress perfectly.
Kardashian’s MTV VMAs look is edgier than her previous ensemble for the ceremony in 2015.
