Paris Hilton Glitters at the MTV VMAs in Statement Spiked Dress and Dazzling Pumps
Paris Hilton amplified the glamour while attending the 2021 MTV VMAs in Brooklyn on Sunday night.
The “Cooking with Paris” host donned a dazzling silver dress, which sparkled as she made an entrance in a pastel pink Mini Cooper with singer Kim Petras. The long-sleeved The Blonds number was covered in embellishments, which included crystals, mirror fragments and silver spikes in varying sizes. The piece also featured a high neckline and asymmetric skirt. Hilton kept her accessories minimal, only wearing a pair of stud earrings and her engagement ring to let the dress make the boldest statement.
When it came to shoes, Hilton continued her dedication to sparkle with a pair of disco-worthy Aquazzura pumps. The slingback Tequila style featured metallic silver uppers, pointed toes and 4.7-inch heels. The shoes’ toes and uppers were also covered in round crystals, creating a glitzy monochrome moment when paired with Hilton’s dress. Hilton’s pumps retail for $1,566 on Farfetch.com.
Hilton has been a longtime attendee of the MTV VMAs, spotted on the red carpet as early as 2002 in a variety of daring and glamorous ensembles. Whether it’s leopard-printed silk, ruffled or sheer with glittering zebra stripes, the heiress’ dresses for the event have always made bold statements over the years. Many of Hilton’s ensembles have also featured pointed-toe pumps, making her 2021 appearance a continuation of the style streak.
The “Stars Are Blind” singer’s shoe wardrobe is wide-ranging. Hilton has worn a variety of pumps and sneakers by Christian Louboutin, Jimmy Choo and Giuseppe Zanotti over the years, frequently accented with maximalist crystals or mixed materials. She’s also starred in Yeezy’s Season 6 campaign in 2018, wearing the brand’s chunky sneakers and nude sandals as a Kim Kardashian clone.
