Kourtney Kardashian’s Lace Minidress, Thigh-High Stockings & Studded Pumps Are Daringly Romantic
Kourtney Kardashian is on a roll when it comes to her edgy style.
Last night, the Poosh creator tapped into trends from the early 2000s with a major statement look. The outfit came from a retro Dolce & Gabbana collection and was once worn by Britney Spears herself. Featuring an endless amount of sheer black lace, the ensemble layered a frilly nightgown-style dress over a black bralette and coordinating briefs with thigh-high stockings to tout.
The finishing touch for the outfit was a set of black leather pumps with a studded silver edge. Alexander Wang offers a similar pair on Farfetch for over $930.
Kourtney’s own style wheelhouse has recently taken a turn for more gothic and edgy pieces rather than her previous sweet and trendy picks.
Last month, the media personality brought her risk-taking taste to Venice, Italy, for a busy schedule of Dolce & Gabbana events alongside beau Travis Barker. As seen on her Instagram, Kourtney got daring in one particular sheer dress from the Italian luxury house. The silky slip dress featured a statement print, layering over a black lace bralette and coordinating bottoms.
Slip dresses, like low-rise jeans and bandana tops, are making their triumphant return from the late 1990s and early aughts; the effortlessly chic silhouette is favorited this year already by Rihanna, Kendall Jenner and more top stars.
Kourtney’s own sleek shoes this week are just one of the many chic designs in the television personality’s footwear collection; her more dressed-up ensembles tend to include shoes from Balenciaga, Celine, Giuseppe Zanotti and, of course, Kanye West’s Yeezy line. In addition to her Yeezy pairs, Kourtney also favors sneakers from Veja for her workouts and from New Balance for her off-duty style.
Beyond fashion, the media mogul also created her own lifestyle brand Poosh in 2019, offering health tips, products to shop and a mix of stories online.
