Rosalía put a comfortable spin on monochrome dressing while visiting Paris yesterday.

The “Catalina” singer wore a white belted leather jacket, paired with matching pants, while attending a fitting for Jacquemus. She kept her accessories minimal, opting for black oval sunglasses and a coordinating leather handbag. However, the look’s boldest — and comfiest — statement came from the singer’s footwear, a pair of black leather square-toe slides with exaggerated padded straps.

Rosalía’s slides were styled with black socks, ensuring she was especially comfortable during her day in the City of Light. The pair’s puffy leather straps are part of the season’s puffy footwear trend, which burst into the fashion world this spring due to the texture’s comfortable and pillow-like feel. Slides are also the new go-to sandals for celebrities like Ashley Graham, Dua Lipa and Kristin Cavallari, coinciding with a rise in athleisure outfits and retro-inspired footwear. Brands like Adidas, Freedom Moses and Balenciaga have given the comfortable style a maximalist makeover with details like logos, PVC and — of course — puffy leather.

Monochrome dressing is another popular trend this season. By wearing a full outfit in one color or print, you can create an instantly sharp and put-together ensemble with the styling hack. Stars like Jennifer Lopez, Tracee Ellis Ross and Megan Fox have shown a variety of looks in single tones, proving its wardrobe value.

The “Con Altura” singer’s shoe style, much like her wardrobe, has a wide range that’s edgy and eclectic. The Spanish musician often wears luxury labels like Prada, Louis Vuitton and Balmain, as well as independent brands like Sinead Gorey, Pushbutton and Feng Chen Wang. On the footwear front, she can regularly be seen in towering platform boots by Versace, Haiki 851 and Rick Owens. However, for more casual occasions, she often dons printed and colorful sneakers by Nike and Air Jordan, slides by Eytys and platform rubber Crocs.

Rosalia’s ties to the fashion and beauty industries have rapidly grown in the last several years. Last summer, the singer appeared in Nike’s Air Max 2090 ads and became an ambassador for MAC’s Viva Glam campaign. She’s also teased Nike’s Air Force 1 sneaker-espadrille hybrid on social media, which hasn’t been released yet. The fashion world has also embraced Rosalía; last year, she starred in Savage x Fenty’s “Vol. 2” runway film and was seated in the front row at Burberry and Nike’s runway shows.
