Amina Muaddi and Wolford Launch Legwear Collaboration Featuring Crystal Fishnets, Thong Tights & More

Shoe designer Amina Muaddi and Wolford have teamed up for an exclusive collaboration of tights, leggings and ready-to-wear that is bringing femininity to the forefront.

In the capsule collection are 17 pieces that includes a range of legwear such as fishnet tights, socks and stockings embellished with hand-applied, Swarovski crystals, for instance.

“I’ve always been a Wolford fan and client, to me the brand represents the epitome of quality legwear and bodywear and a symbol of refined femininity,” Muaddi said in a statement. “I like to create modern products that feel timeless and boost the confidence of the person who wears them and I believe that through this collaboration we were able to bring our collided vision to life.”

Other materials used in the collab include latex, lace, viscose jersey and eco-leather, seen in bright green, red, black, white and nude colorways.

Plus, there is a slit between the toes that allows the consumer to wear sheer tights with thong sandals.

The ready-to-wear product consists of two black bodysuits, detailed with  mandarin collars, and four slim-fit dresses featuring super short lengths, slits and cut-out detailing.

The collection, ranging from $90 to $4,990, is available now on Wolford.com and in select Wolford stores and retailers. In addition, the launch will be featured in pop-up shops located in: Paris at Galeries Lafayette, from July 5;  Selfridges in London and Milan’s Antonia store, starting from July 10; and at Bergdorf Goodman in New York on July 19.

This is not Muaddi’s first collaboration that has made waves. Last year, she won FN’s Collaborator of the Year at the 2020 FN Achievement Awards for her shoe collab with Rihanna’s Fenty label. Muaddi also received the FN Designer of the Year award in 2019.
