Candice Swanepoel Gets All Dolled Up in a Glittering Catsuit & Platforms at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival
Candice Swanepoel brought dramatic glamour to the opening ceremony of the 2021 Cannes Film Festival in France today.
The former Victoria’s Secret Angel was spotted leaving her hotel in bold fashion this evening ahead of the red carpet event. Her ensemble highlighted a plunging catsuit complete with a semi-sheer fabric, glittering embellishments and fringed sleeves.
To balance out the floor-sweeping pants of her jumpsuit, Swanepoel opted for lifted platform sandals when it came to footwear; the stiletto-heeled designed peeped out from underneath, unveiling a metallic gold finish.
Also in attendance for today’s festivities was Swanepoel’s fellow model Izabel Goulart.
Stepping out on the famous Croisette this afternoon, the Brazillian star took on French trends in a perfectly tailored white suit and a chic tied-up scarf top. On her feet, Goulart opted for an easygoing twist on this summer’s biggest shoe: thong-toe sandals. The silver pair featured a looped side paneling and a metallic sheen; Aquazzura offers a similar pair for $450.
From her bout walking Victoria’s Secret runways to her days on design catwalks, Candice Swanepoel’s own style remains as chic as ever. The model previously starred in campaigns for Tommy Hilfiger, Givenchy, Versace, Tom Ford and more major brands. She also founded her own dancewear brand, Tropic Of C, a sustainable and charitable label providing separates made from eco-conscious materials.
